The Vernon Township Clerk is the keeper of the records and a non-voting member of the Board of Trustees. Listed below are the services provided by the Clerk's office.

Election Services

The Clerk's office oversees voter registration, voting by mail, early voting sites, and election information within Vernon Township.

  • Current representative districts and those districts effective November 2012
  • Election Day and early voting site locations including driving directions and picture
  • Form to make application for a ballot by mail
  • Sample ballot, beginning 40 days prior to Election Day
  • Track receipt of ballot, if voting by mail

Other Services

The Clerk's office offers fishing/hunting licenses, which can also be purchased online with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.  Notary services are available please review our notary service policies before calling 847-634-4600 to check for notary hours & availability.
