The Vernon Township Food Pantry provides nutritionally balanced food to township individuals and families who are in need of assistance. The Food Pantry is a community project supervised by the Township. Access the 2018 Food Pantry Days.

Donating to the Food Pantry

The Food Pantry consists of non-perishable food donated by the community for residents who need food due to financial problems. Along with donations of non perishable food items, gift cards to local grocery stores and cash donations are accepted. View a list of most needed items (PDF).

Food stamps can be applied for at the Illinois Department of Human Services by calling 847-336-5212 or accessing the online application
